Each year the Acteum Management Group tithes a perentage of its profits to the Acteum Trust.  The Trust also seeks
support from mainstream Australian businesses.

The two aims of the Trust are:

To increase the number of Indigenous people in senior management positions in Australia

Each year the Trust supports a number of Indigenous trainees who wish to enter or study business. The nature of the
support provided is flexible, depending on the funds available and the needs of the individuals  concerned, but may include
financial support, job placements, coaching and mentoring.  Where appropriate, cadetships will be offered within the Acteum Management Group.

The Trustees believe that helping Indigenous people "get a seat at the Board table" is one of the most powerful  long-term
strategies available to reduce the disgraceful disadvantage of Indigenous people in Australia.

To recruit senior managers from the mainstream Australian business community to help solve the problems faced by Indigenous Australians

The Trust will also arrange visits by senior mainstream business executives to Indigenous communities to see and hear for
themselves the problems faced by Indigenous communities in Australia.

The Trustees believe that members of this often veryinfluential group largely know little about the lives of Indigenous people in Australia.
